Zenithmark

Terms of Service

These are Zenithmark's product terms. Zenithmark is a Starhold Software product; see also Starhold Software's umbrella terms of service.

1. What Zenithmark does

Zenithmark takes a domain name, runs a catalog of mail and DNS security checks, and returns a 0–100 score with an evidenced report and copy-paste fixes. To do that, we query public DNS and perform a TLS handshake with your mail and web servers. We read what any resolver, mail server or browser reads, and we never send email to the domain. The service is provided by Copper Jerky LLC, an Arizona limited liability company doing business as Starhold Software (“we”, “us”).

2. Public data only

Zenithmark reads only public information: DNS records, and the public certificates and headers your mail and web servers present to anyone who connects. We do not log in to anything or attempt to exploit any system. You may scan a domain you do not own, since the data is public, but you are responsible for how you use the results. We may rate-limit, block, or refuse scans we believe are abusive.

3. Reports are public to anyone with the link

Each scan produces a report at an unguessable link. Anyone who has the link can view it, and we do not know who you share it with. Do not share a report if its contents are confidential to you. Reports are marked so search engines do not index them, and are deleted after 30 days.

4. No warranty; findings are informational

The service and every report are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. A high score is not a guarantee of security, and a finding is not a guarantee of a problem. Zenithmark is one input to your own judgment — it is informational and is not a security certification, audit, or compliance attestation.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Zenithmark to attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system, to evade our rate limits, or to resell the service without agreement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or revenue, including any loss arising from your use of a scan or report. The service is free; our total liability for all claims relating to Zenithmark will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date below. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
